Labarbara Dumped

I wonder why players end up hating LA?
Could it be because LA fans love to take a turn kicking them once we’ve torn them down?
I think this was a disrespectful move by Lombardi to Labarbara.
He should have sent him to Manchester and allowed him to at least get claimed, cuz he would have, and who [...]

USA Routs Khazakhstan at WJC’s

The USA mens under-20 Ice hockey team routed the Khazakhstan team by a significant margin.
The United States team was not eager to embarrass and showed class by not pouring it on.  The one exception being a retaliatory goal directed, hopefully, as an answer to the very dirty elbow thrown late in the game on a [...]

LA Kings Shutout Again…

The LA Kings were shutout by Columbus in Los Angeles 0-2.  The second goal for Columbus was an empty netter that sealed the victory by Rick Nash with approximately half a minute left in the game.
The shutout was the King’s 6th shutout loss of the season.

A Phoenix Must Burn In Order To Be Reborn

I’ve got the answer for the Phoenix Coyotes, but the people of Phoenix are not going to like it.  The team must be sold to an interested party who is hungry for ownership.  Someone passionate about the game.  That person is Jerry Bruckheimer.
No, I don’t know the man, but I know people who do, [...]

The Czech is in the mail…

What’s happened to the Czech Republic’s hockey? They looked like they were involved in a scrimmage-gone-awry yesterday, losing 1-8 to the Canadians. At one point it sounded like the Canadian fans even took to singing and chanting much like a european football audience, something I wholeheartedly welcome.
But for the Czechs I’m left wondering [...]

World Junior Championships

The Junior tournament is underway, and the NHL Network is providing coverage.
The LA Kings will be well represented by some standout players who are being asked to lead their country’s teams.
Oscar Moller for Team Sweden.
Colton Teubert and Thomas Hickey for Team Canada.
And, Viacheslav Voinov for Team Russia.
Here’s a partial TV schedule courtesy of Inside The [...]

BOC

I have to direct Nobody to the Battle of California blog where the writing is top notch, and funny as hell. Check out their Matt Greene Vs. Douglas Murray debate and be sure to vote.

The only problem with their blog is that they recently changed servers, but I prefer the old one [...]
